Hundreds of students at both the Kimball and Eden Valley-Watkins elementary schools made drawings of Christmas or winter scenes again this year for the Tri-County News Christmas issue last week (Dec. 22). There was such an array of topics, talent and humor, it was great fun going through these drawings to select several to be run as business ads for sponsoring local businesses. From those, we chose one first prize, two second prizes, and five third prizes (each with cash awards). The prize letters were delivered Thursday morning, Dec. 22, before school let out for Christmas break.
Every student who submitted a drawing is a winner in our books. And thank you all! We hope that you?Äôll continue your artistic endeavors.
