“Loving Chalices for Christ” is the theme of the 51st annual convention of the Diocesan Council of Catholic Women (DCCW) which will be Saturday, Sept. 11, at St. Edward’s Parish in Henning. All Catholic women are invited and encouraged to attend. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a business meeting at 9 a.m. At 10 a.m., Fr. Richard Wey will present a keynote address called “Going the Second Mile.” Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with Bishop John Kinney presiding. Afternoon speakers will be Jean Weyer of Menagha, Lucy Andrie of Wadena, and Kathy McFadden of Sauk Centre. The day will end with Rosary and the Benediction.
