Crime Watch: Theft of fish house from Kingston, Dec. 2

On the morning of Tuesday, Dec. 2, the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office received a report that a fish house had been stolen from the King Crow Company in Kingston. King Crow is a manufacturer of aluminum-sided fish houses with retractable wheels. A neighbor alerted the owner of King Crow that someone had entered the property and towed away one of the fish houses parked outside. The owner in turn contacted law enforcement and alerted them to the theft. The suspect vehicle is a late-model, full-sized Chevrolet or GMC extended-cab pickup, pewter in color, with matching pewter-colored topper; it is described as having aluminum rims. The fish house is valued at $9,631, as it was equipped with many options. It is 16 by 6 1/2 feet in size with aluminum siding in forest green and mocha frost; it has brown carpeting.
