Cubs Club Before and After School-Age Program

Cubs Club has been enjoying this beautiful weather we’ve been having! We’ve been spending lots of time outside and having some fun in the sun. March has come and gone, and it’s hard to believe it’s already mid-April.

Cubs Club has been up to all sorts of new adventures! In March we learned about healthy foods. The children loved the activity where we got to paint our favorite healthy food. We also learned about St. Patrick’s Day! St. Patrick Jeopardy was a favorite, answering questions like, “Some people say this will happen to you if you don’t wear green on St. Patrick’s Day.” (Answer: you can get pinched!) “Hiding the Gold Coin” was also another game we got to play where our “Leprechaun” would hide his coins in the room and the other children would try to find his gold! As we’ve been getting into April, Cubs Club explored Easter week! Each child got to make and decorate their own construction paper egg with different colors of bright paint. They turned out gorgeous! The children’s favorite game though, was the Egg Hunt! Scattered throughout the playground, the children had to find all the plastic hidden eggs.

What is your child going to do this summer? Have you considered signing your child up for KidZone? KidZone Camp is a chance for children to grow, learn and enjoy time with friends. Each week at camp we explore a new, fun-filled theme. We connect creative arts, physical activities, science discovery, and more, to explore these weekly themes. Special events, guest visitors, and walking field trips are planned to further develop our themes. Some of our themes are “The Great Outdoors,” “Wet n’ Wild,” Space Exploration.”
