Kimball traveled to Eden Valley to take on the Eagles this past Friday in their final game of the season. The Eagles jumped to an early lead with one run in the first inning. They added a run in the second and two more in the third. The Cubs were held scoreless for the first time all season in the 4-0 loss.
Alan Schmidt started on the mound and threw three innings. He gave up four runs on five hits. Alan walked one and struck out one. This was Schmidt?Äôs first start of the season.
In the batter?Äôs box, Kimball collected three hits. They struck out five times and had no walks for the first time this season. Greg Antigua, Zack Holtz, and Austin Donnay collected the three Cub hits. Kimball finished the season with a record of one win, eight losses and one tie.
