The Kimball Cubs continued their offensive struggles Friday night against Eden Valley-Watkins. The Cubs fell in the 2003 Rooster Bowl, 49-0. The Eagle defense caused troubles for the younger Cubs, as Kimball managed only three first downs for the game. Kimball’s lone offensive highlight was a 17-yard screen pass to senior tight-end Jeremy Dahnke. Jeremy Flickinger and Dahn-ke lead the defense with three tackles and three assists from their linebacker positions. David Dahnke contributed three tackles and two assists from the free safety position. The Cubs look for their first win Friday night, Sept. 12, against the Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Lakers at Ken Helling Field.
