Cubs?Äô early lead not enough to hold off Jaguars

The friendly confines were not enough for the Kimball Cubs last Friday night, Sept. 12, as the visiting rival 
Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars emerged victorious in the Central Minnesota Conference battle, 14-6. Kimball?Äôs Brady Mehr scored an opening-quarter touchdown and ran for an impressive 150 yards total. Dunkin Westridge pounded out 48 rushing yards in the loss, as the Cubs fall to 0-3 overall. Kimball?Äôs 6-0 first-half advantage was erased on third and fourth quarter Jaguar TDs.
