Cubs?Äô volleyball team defeats friendly foe

The Kimball girls looked sharp once again, in their 3-0 win over Eden Valley-Watkins Thursday, Sept. 3. Set scores were 25-7, 25-13, and 25-22. Leading scorers for Kimball were Emma Kuechle with 4 aces and 17 points, Mackenzie Leither with 3 aces and 9 points, and Kari Schiefelbein with 11 points. Madison Hurrle led the Cubs with 10 kills, while Becky Holtz had 23 set assists. Defensively, Kari Schiefelbein passed well and had 8 digs. The Cubs are now 1-0 in the CMC and 2-0 overall.
