The American Cancer Society Daffodil Days are here! Volunteers will be distributing daffodils to cancer survivors, students, employees, spouses, secretaries and others during the week of March 16. Donations collected from the flower sale will be used for American Cancer Society research, education, advocacy and service. Through advancements in cancer treatment and prevention, an estimated 8.4 million Americans are living today with a history of cancer. Your American Cancer Society is always researching to find a cure for cancer. More than two million daffodils will be shipped from he state of Washington for Daffodil Days in Minnesota. Businesses and employers placed advanced orders for distribution. Daffodil bouquets will be available for a $7 donation from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, March 20-21, at the Kimball Legion Club. Bouquets will also be available at the State Bank of Kimball from 2-6 p.m. on Friday, March 21. Daffy Grams will also be available at the Kimball Elementary School.
