The Kimball School Board held their Truth In Taxation hearing beginning at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, with the regular meeting following.
The consent agenda was approved including approval of hiring two paraprofessionals and accepting the resignation of one para. A change in girls’ basketball coaching was included also.
The principals reported on upcoming Course Registration Guide, a grant received by FACS department, World’s Best Workforce report, lockdown, successful holiday programs, PIE raffle, and hiring an additional special education instructor.
Superintendent Widvey reported on final HVAC units to be installed over break, MSBA Winter Conference, demographics report coming in January, and the ESSER III grant approved.
The board certified the annual levy, approved the seniority list of teachers, approved the revised FY22 budget, adopted the -Resolution Directing the Administration to Make Recommendations for Reductions in Programs and Positions, approved revisions to Policy 721, approved the World’s Best Workforce Plan Report, hired a custodian, and accepted a resignation from one of our sign language interpreters.
