Deer causes rollover

July 12, at 11:47 p.m., the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a personal injury accident on 260th Street and 525th Avenue in Grove City. The caller indicated that her 16-year-old daughter swerved to miss a deer and rolled a 2002 Ford Escape. The car rolled twice and landed on its roof. The driver was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident and was transported by her mother to Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar before the deputy’s arrival. The girl was treated for injuries that were not life-threatening. The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the accident.
