“Clean Up” was the theme for the annual employee Food Shelf drive at diversiCOM Melrose Telephone Company and Mainstreet Communications. Employees donated household and personal cleaning supplies. The company matched donations, bringing the total to more than 500 pounds of products. Donated items were divided and delivered to Eden Valley, Kimball, Melrose and Sauk Centre food shelves. All goods purchased by the company were bought in the community where the food shelf is located. Melrose Telephone Company offers local phone service in eight area exchanges, and celebrated 75 years of service in 2003. diversiCOM offers long distance, high-speed Internet, and features like caller ID and voice mail.
