diversiCOM Melrose Telephone Company held a picnic in Kimball to celebrate their 75 years of service. At the picnic, Kimball residents were treated to a free meal of grilled brats, hamburgers and hotdogs. The event featured a live band. Children and adults could race one another in the giant inflatable running game. Youngster could jump around in the moonwalk and everyone could put on a temporary tattoo. Many Kimball area residents attended the event. About twenty door prizes were given awaym including $200 in cash, phone cards, cordless phones, a grill and bikes for children.
