Department of Natural Resources (DNR) officer Brian Mies recently visited fifth-grade students at Kimball Elementary School. While there, Mies told the fifth-graders about his career with the DNR. Mies said that being a DNR officer is like being a police officer, except he deals with natural resources, fish and other wild animals. “This job can be easy, fun or difficult,” explained Mies.
