It?Äôs amazing how far hard work and perseverance will take you. Emily and Anna Donnay have proved that. Second-year runner Emily is Conference and Section champ, and was recently Aspire Beverages Athlete of the Week. First-year runner (and sophomore) Anna is second in Section 5A.
Saturday morning, Nov. 1, the pair will compete for the State title.
A pep fest and send-off is planned for Friday, Oct. 31, at 9 a.m. from the KAHS gym.
The sisters have become media darlings, featured in a variety of print and online media. But they still do daily chores on the family dairy farm. Just a little more hard work and dedication for these two.
