This letter is in regards to the possible ban of paintballing at Willow Creek Park. Is there really anything else in the town of Kimball for these kids to do? I was a resident of Kimball for 20 years and have seen the changes. Kimball Days used to be a fun time for kids. Now the games are almost non-existent. It has just become a beerfest for the adults. The town has three buildings that are now bars. Did it ever dawn on anyone that maybe they could of been put to better use? Maybe an arcade? Now these kids have to come up with something to do on their own, something I might add, that is a lot better than partying and getting into trouble. And now you want to take it away from them? There is always someone older than 18 with them at the park, and I am sure that they know they are playing at their own risk. I would like you to reconsider this ban. Just think of what these kids could be doing instead, and maybe you will see it’s really not such a bad thing. Stacey Hoskins Athol, Kan.
