Doris Rosha of St. Augusta died Thursday, May 11, 2017, at the St. Cloud Hospital. She was 74.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in St. Augusta with Rev. Jose Edayadivil, VC, officiating. Friends and relatives may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday at St. Mary Help of Christians in St. Augusta and one hour prior to services Tuesday, all at the church in St. Augusta. Parish prayers will be at
6 p.m. Monday evening at the parish center in St. Augusta. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Doris M. Rosha was born Nov. 27, 1942, in St. Cloud to Henry and Ella (Beumer) Meyer. She married Lloyd Rosha May 8, 1965, at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in St. Augusta. Doris was a homemaker, caring for the couple’s seven children; she also worked part-time at McDonalds where she made many friends. She walked strongly in her faith and was a member of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church and the Christian Women. Doris was also a member of the Homemaker?Äôs Club and Book Club. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, gardening, and canning her well-known pickles; sewing, and creating first communion and baptism gowns. She enjoyed preparing meals at home for her family and to support the church. Doris was extremely giving, selfless, and always put others before herself. Most importantly, she loved her family beyond words. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, brother Pete Meyer, sister-in-law Jeanette Meyer, and nephew Fred Meyer.
She is survived by her husband Lloyd of St. Augusta; children Steve of Rockville, Lisa of St. Augusta, Sue (and Mark) Erickson of Fertile, Aaron (and Jenny) of St. Anthony, Mike (and Christina) of Wyoming, Noel (and Tricia) of Greenwood, Mo., Terese (and Neil) Haus of St. Louis Park; brothers Ben Meyer, Paul (and Carol) Meyer, Franklin Meyer, and David Meyer, all of St. Augusta; sister-in-law Nancy Meyer of St. Augusta; and grandchildren Jenna, Brandon, Anna, Ben, Jonathon, Caitlyn, Ella, Jack, Julia, Isabelle, Adalynn, Claire, Emsley, and Nora.
Arrangements are entrusted to Williams Dingmann Funeral Home, St. Cloud.
