Lake Maria State Park will host a program on dragonflies at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 21, at the Lake Maria Trail Center.

Minnesota Master Naturalist, Arne Myrabo, who is one of the founding members of the Minnesota Dragonfly Society will give a one-hour presentation on dragonflies at the trail center.  Arne will then follow with a dragonfly hunt down by the lake after the presentation.

The program is free, but there is a $7 daily vehicle permit fee for those without an annual permit.  Lake Maria State Park is located approximately seven miles northwest of Monticello, five miles north of Maple Lake and 10 miles northeast of Annandale on Wright County Highway 111.  For more information about directions and activities, call
