Are you looking to bring HOPE to someone that may feel like their world is falling apart? Donating blood to the American Red Cross can be that HOPE – not only to the patient in need but also to their family and friends.

A blood donor is a LIFESAVER. Saving a life won’t cost you anything. Go ahead and donate blood. The American Red Cross will host a blood drive in Eden Valley from noon-6 p.m. Thursday, May 8, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 852 Stearns Ave. W.

Donors must be at least 17 years old (16 years old with a signed Red Cross parental/guardian consent form), be in good general health, have NOT donated in the last 56 days OR 112 days if your last donation was double reds. Height/weight requirements for donors younger than 19 years may apply. Other health questions and mini physical will be administered at the site before verifying eligibility.
