Ray and Carol Tri were recently presented the Central Minnesota Conference Distinguished Service Award for their volunteer work in the district.
The couple have been active in the Eagle Boosters since the group was formed in the early 1990s.
Carol served as secretary for a number of years and continues to help out dishing up nachos and brats at home football games.
Ray, meanwhile, served as EV-W head football coach from 1984 to 2009 and has been a volunteer football coach since 2018. The award was presented during halftime of the Feb. 7 boys’ basketball game. Photo courtesy of Nicole Schultz.
