The Eden Valley-Watkins Lady Eagles opened the season on the right foot, defeating Litchfield, 58-53, last Tuesday, Nov. 29. Taking a 30-22 advantage into the halftime break, the Eagles maintained a tough defensive effort and held off a formidable, aggressive and talented Dragons?Äô squad. Eden Valley-Watkins faces a challenging schedule this season, and as always, Coach Tom Jansen has the girls fired-up and ready for the mission.
