EV-W boys impressive in playoff opener, lose round two

 The #4-seeded Eden Valley-Watkins basketball boys started post-season play in style, defeating #13-seeded Providence Academy, 67-56, last Thursday, March 9.  At the halftime break, EV-W held a hefty 38-20 advantage.  Jacob Streit led the Eagles offensive attack with twenty points.  Eden Valley-Watkins Scoring:  Mitchell Molitor 2; Jacob Streit 20; Reese Jansen 10; Greg Lux 16; Dominic Schlangen 14; Justin Streit 5.  EV-W moved on in the Section 5AA playoff action and faced Breck on Saturday afternoon.   (Breck Game):  The Eagles dropped a tough one to Breck, 58-50, at St. Michael-Albertville on Saturday; ending EV-W?Äôs playoff run and excellent season.  Eden Valley-Watkins Scoring:  Mitchell Molitor 7; Jacob Streit 15; Reese Jansen 13; Greg Lux 3; Dominic Schlangen 12.
