The Eden Valley-Watkins Drama Club and Community Ed will be hosting Spring Play auditions for the drama ?ÄúThe Miracle Worker.?Äù
Audition dates are Wednesday, Feb. 22, 3:15-5:15 p.m. in the high school cafeteria, and Thursday, Feb. 23, 6-8:15 p.m. in the Auxiliary Gym.
Students in grades 7-12 are encouraged to audition. There are also limited roles for younger students so they need to contact Vicki Meyer at (320) 224-1371 if interested.
?ÄúThe Miracle Worker,?Äù is the story of the early years of Helen Keller?Äôs life and how Annie Sullivan helped reach her. Those auditioning are asked to research the story. The roles of Helen and Annie are physically challenging so girls interested in those roles need to dress in comfortable clothes and be ready to move on stage. The role of Annie Sullivan requires the actress to speak in an Irish accent.
Production dates are May 4, 5, 6, and 7.
