The Eagles captured a 20-14 win over Holdingford in the Section 5AA quarterfinals last Tuesday, Oct. 23. (EV-W; 0, 6, 0, 14 – 20); (Holdingford; 0, 0, 14, 0 – 14). The victory earned Eden Valley-Watkins the right to play in the semifinals, where they met up with a juggernaut that is top-seeded Paynesville. The Bulldogs were impressive in the 46-0 shutout of the Eagles, tallying over 350 yards rushing, while holding EV-W to 121 total yards of offense.
