Eden Valley-Watkins hosted Litchfield on Tuesday, Dec. 2, and won a well-fought battle, 57-49. The Eagles grabbed a 29-24 halftime lead. EV-W?Äôs senior center Maria Holdvogt claimed a double-

double, scoring a dozen points and snatching 10 rebounds. The Eagles?Äô scoring attack was led by sophomore guard Madeleine Geislinger, who poured in 16 points.

Coming off a Tuesday night victory, the Eagles hit the road Thursday, Dec. 4, with destination New London in mind. New London-Spicer emerged victorious, 49-44, in a well-played closely-contested affair.  The Wildcats?Äô sophomore Kabrie Weber and junior Alyssa Fredrick each posted 12 points to help seal the win. Sophomore forward Elaina Stommes topped the Eagles?Äô scoring column with 11 points, followed by senior Marie Holdvogt, with 10.
