Dassel-Cokato Invitational at Collinwood Park Tuesday,
Sept. 25
Teams competing were Annandale, Waconia, Dassel-Cokato, Glencoe-Silver Lake, Litchfield, Eden Valley-Watkins-Kimball, and Delano.
In the girls’ varsity race, Raelynn Callander placed 13th in a time of 16:57; Denzel Atherton 21st-17:35, Malina Röettgermann 26th-17:32, Grace Kopitzke 25th-18:23, Marisa Johnson 41st-18:56, Brooke Winter 47th-19:49, and Kristen Howe 50th-20:45. As a team, EV-W-K girls’ varsity placed sixth.
In the boys’ varsity race, Brett Mattice placed 43rd in a time of 20:41, and Tyler Neu 50th in 21:42.
In the girls’ JV, Madison Libbesmeier placed ninth in a time of 18:49, Taylor Schreiner 12th-19:00, Maria Roeser 17th-19:22, Stephanea Roeser 18th-19:23, Kendra Atherton 33rd-20:05, Seahara Mancini 45th-20:39, Lauren Libbesmeier 74th-22:30, Paiten Schreiner 83rd-23:04, Alissa Jones 90th-24:05, Erika Johnson 92nd-24:13, and Hannah Zipoy 96th-25:51. As a team, the girls’ junior varsity placed fifth.
In the boys’ junior varsity race, Matthew Notch placed 55th in a time of 22:56, and Cameron Flaschenriem 91st in 27:34.
In the junior high race, Katie Gaslin placed eighth in a time of 14:48, Sonora Mattice-ninth-14:50, Hannah Holmberg, 12th-16:12, and Hannah Ehlinger 20th-16:23. The junior high race was 3000 meters.
Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Invitational meet Thursday, Sept. 27
Teams competing were Holdingford, Mayer Lutheran-Lester Prairie-Holy Trinity, Pierz, Eden Valley-Watkins-Kimball, and Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted.
In the girls’ varsity race, Raelynn Callander placed sixth in a time of 16:58, Denzel Atherton ninth-17:36, Malina Röettgermann 15th-18:10, Marisa Johnson 18th-18:27, Grace Kopitzke 20th-18:36, Brooke Winter 24th-19:23, and Seahara Mancini 27th-19:54. As a team, the EV-W-K girls’ varsity placed fourth.
In the girls’ junior varsity race, Madison Libbesmeier placed third in a time of 19:17, Taylor Schreiner fourth-19:36, Maria Roeser fifth-19:50, Stephanea Roeser sixth-19:53, Sonora Mattice seventh-19:58, Hannah Holmberg ninth-20:09, Kendra Atherton 10th-20:16, Kristen Howe 12th-21:16, Hannah Ehlinger 13th-21:39, Katie Gaslin 14th-21:41, Alissa Jones 16th-23:06, Paiten Schreiner 17th-23:35, Hannah Zipoy 18th-26:02, and Cheyenne Sogge 19th-26:32. As a team, EV-W-K girls’ junior varsity placed first.
In the boys’ junior varsity race, Brett Mattice placed third in a time of 19:47, Tyler Neu sixth-20:42, Matthew Notch 15th-22:22, Tyler Swafford 21st-24:44, and Cameron Flaschenriem 22nd-24:52. As a team, the EV-W-K goys’ placed fourth. It has been years since we have had enough boys for a complete team.
Everyone had a good meet, taking time off and running stronger, good job!
Our next meet will be in Litchfield this Thursday,(Oct. 4) at 4 p.m.
