Waverly-Winsted High School, the Central Minnesota Conference cross-country meet was held last Tuesday, Oct. 16, at Cokato’s Collinwood Park. EV-W/K Junior Varsity team members Zya Lueders, Katie Ruhland, and Isabel Greenwald captured the top three spots with times of 21.07, 22.09, and 22.12, respectively.
EV-W/K varsity girls team finished a very respectable third, behind the Lakers and Irish squads. EV-W/K’s Libby Yozamp’s time of 20.24 and ninth-place finish earned her all-conference honors. Just behind that with a time of 20.33 was teammate Olivia Kuechle whose efforts gained her all-conference honorable mention.
