EV-W baseball team outlasts Cubs
The Eagles defeated friendly rival Kimball last Tuesday, May 9, by a final tally of 6-2. Eden Valley-Watkins took the lead for good with two runs in the third inning, when Matt Schindler tripled, driving in one run, followed by Andrew Bautch?Äôs RBI single. Schindler earned the win for the Eagles, hurling seven innings, allowing two runs, six hits, striking out two, and walking one.
