Eden Valley-Watkins hosted the first wrestling triangular of the new season last Tuesday,
Dec. 9. The Eagles lost to a very tough Pierz team, but defeated a formidable Rockford squad.
?ÄúWell, we were a little overmatched against Pierz, which has a very good and balanced team. We fought hard, which coaches like to see. We wrestled well against Rockford and every time you can get a win it?Äôs good. We still have some growing to do as individuals but we are getting there. Next Friday is our next event, a quad in ACGC with Osakis and BBE,?Äù said Coach Dan Berg.
