The Kimball Business and Community Expo was just hitting its stride, becoming an event that everyone looked forward to. And then COVID-19 came and halted such gatherings. So the last time our community got together for the Expo was in 2019.
Well, we’re back! Saturday, March 29, 8 a.m.-12 noon.
This year’s participants include (in alphabetical order) 4.0 Bus, Air Pro, A.M. Maus & Son, American Family Insurance-Ehlinger Agency, Arnold’s of Kimball, Arvig, CAP Homes, City of Kimball, CW Water, Dingmann Funeral Care, Edina Realty-Nora Job, Fun Size Pet Spa, Harvest Bank, Keystone Insurance, Kimball Chiropractic, Kimball Fire Department, Kimball Lions, Kimball Schools, Lake Country Bible Church, Maine Prairie Studio, MCP Collision, Oak Realty, Rise & Grind, Scouting America, St. John’s Lutheran Church, Tri-County News, and Your Home Heating & Air.
The morning starts with breakfast served up by Kimball United Methodist Church, from 7:30-10:30 a.m. in the Cafetorium. All the other events are in Wirth Gym.
Kimball Lions will offer vision tests; bring your old eye glasses to be recycled too. Maine Prairie Studio will demonstrate pottery and ceramics. The Kimball Scouts will host a Pinewood Derby. Koronis Nite Owls, including local children, will do some square dancing. Just for Kix in Annandale will have some of their girls dancing. A.M. Maus & Son will host a test-drive fundraiser. David Gebhardt of Keystone Insurance is hosting a baseball/softball equipment swap in his booth.
