The Kimball Express will officially open its 2004 season Sunday, April 18, at Kimball Veterans Memorial Field in Willow Creek Park. The team will play the Eden Valley Hawks, and the game begins at 2 p.m. The home opener will be the start of a very fun and exciting season. The Express will plug in the first-ever electronic scoreboard at the field, and a public address system. In the coming weeks, look for a press box to be added, and a flagpole behind the outfield wall. The field will also receive another face lift: the infield will be resurfaced and a sprinkler system will be added to the entire field. Come on out to the park this summer to support Kimball baseball.
