New this year is an Axe Throwing Cage, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
This is the 97th year that Old Settlers Day has taken place in Fair Haven. Join us Saturday, June 24, at the Fair Haven Park. The day begins with a parade at 10 a.m. Anyone interested in participating in the parade is to arrive at the Concordia Church parking lot at
9 a.m. for line-up; there is no charge.
Coffee and rolls will be sponsored by Lake Union Church this year. Kimball Booster Club food stand will have hotdogs and -hamburgers. Concordia Lutheran Church will have pork chops, potato salad, baked beans, water, lemonade, and coffee available in the shelter. Root beer floats will be available at 2 p.m.
Along with having plenty of food options, there also will be lots of children’s games, face painting, a kiddie tractor pull, and Boy Scout Derby Races. The adults can try their hand at axe throwing this year, and there is the usual tractor pull. Music will be provided by Annandale Community Band. And the -Kimball Area Historical Society will have items on display.
