This year?Äôs 91st Fairhaven Old Settlers Day planning is well on its way. Time seems to be flying by quickly. We are always looking for volunteers to make this day happen. The committee has been planning a couple new events this year. A 5K run before the parade is in the works. Sneaky Pete?Äôs Garden Tractor pullers in the afternoon have been booked. Also, working to get the Kimball Robotics team to come and demonstrate.
Parade units are wanted, no need to sign up, just show up at 9 a.m.; lineup in the Fairhaven Concordia Lutheran Church parking lot. No fee, so as you can see the committee has been very busy. This has been a tradition for 91 years now, and we need the community support.
Raffle tickets for cash prizes are for sale, $1, available at Corky?Äôs, South Haven Sports, Fair Haven Lions members, and Old Settlers Day committee members.
Flyers will be out shortly with what is going on for June 24, Old Settlers Day.
