Fall sports at Kimball Area High School begin Aug. 13. While it may seem a while off, it is important to take care of athletic registration and sports physical examination. Students will not be able to begin practice without a current sports physical or activities registration on file. Forms are available in the Kimball High School Office. Students are required to have a physical examination every three years, states the Minnesota State High School League. They can be given by your family physician, chiropractor, or you can go to Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Sartell. Students will be able to get a physical on Monday, Aug. 6, at 4 p.m. The cost is $15 per student. In addition, Abbott Northwestern will donate the $15 back to our school’s athletic department. If you go to Abbott Northwestern, please make checks payable to Kimball High School. You also need to bring a completed Minnesota State High School League form with you. Fees for fall sports are as follows: High School football grades 9-12 $60; junior high football grades 7-8 $55; high school volleyball grades 9-12 $50; junior high volleyball grades 7-8 $45; cross country $50.
