The board hired a part-time custodian and an elementary paraprofessional, and accepted two teacher resignations. Spring coaches were also approved.
Principals reported on the role of our School Resource Officer, the attendance challenge at the high school, A and B honor roll students, reviewed the course registration guide, One School One Book program at the elementary, kindergarten registration for ’23-24, spring conferences, and a review of the proposed Achievement and Integration Plan. The superintendent reported on a construction update, upcoming board work session, MSBA board trainings, and the food service bid process.
The board approved the high school course catalog for ’23-24, the Achievement & Integration Plan for FY24-FY26 as well as the A&I budget for 23-24, and approved the 2023-2024 school calendar.
