Mrs. Rice, a coordinator of educational services at Meeker County Memorial Hospital, recently visited Mrs. Wirth’s and Mrs. Herrington’s fifth-grade classes. While visiting the classes, Mrs. Rice talked about safety procedures for baby-sitting or staying home alone. She also spoke about poisoning, signs on soap bottles, hitch-hiking and making choices. She taught the students a great deal and provided safety packets for emergencies. She also gave the students a tattoo with an emergency number. Mrs. Wirth’s and Mrs. Herrington’s classes enjoyed her presentation. A huge thank you to Mrs. Rice from the Kimball Elementary School fifth-graders.
