Dennis O’Brien, R.Ph. for the Buffalo Hospital, will present information about cardiac medications at 7 p.m. Monday, March 15. A question and answer session will take place following a short presentation. Attendees are encouraged to bring a list of the medications they take, so answers can be tailored to their needs. Things to think about o How long will you need to take the medicines that you take? o Do you know why you need the medications that you are taking? o Do you know the common side effects to watch for with your medications? o Are there certain foods that you should or should not eat with your medications? o Do you know why you need to take your medications at a certain time of day? Free blood pressure checks will be offered beginning at 6:30 p.m. O’Brien’s presentation will begin at 7 p.m. in the Buffalo Hospital Conference Center. Everyone is invited to attend, free-of-charge.
