Parents or guardians may register 12-year-olds and older for firearms safety classes from 7-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 2, at the Kimball Rod and Gun Club. You must bring the student’s birth certificate or a driver’s license for adult student identification. Classes will be Mondays and Wednesdays beginning Wednesday, Aug. 4, and continuing through Wednesday, Aug. 18. All classes are from 7-9 p.m. Field day will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21. The Minnesota Firearms Safety Class in Kimball has been sponsored and staffed by volunteers from the Kimball Rod and Gun Club since 1977.
