Parents or guardians may register their 12-year-old for firearms safety class from 7-8 p.m. Monday, July 30, at the Kimball Rod & Gun Club. You MUST bring the student’s birth certificate or driver’s license for identification of an adult student. Classes are: Wednesday, Aug. 1, 7-9 p.m.; Monday, Aug. 6, 7-9 p.m.; Wednesday, Aug. 8, 7-9 p.m.; Monday, Aug. 13, 7-9 p.m.; and Wednesday, Aug. 15, 7-9 p.m. Field Day will be 9 a.m. to approximately 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18. The Minnesota Firearms Safety Class in Kimball has been sponsored and staffed by volunteers from the Kimball Rod & Gun Club since 1977. The $7.50 fee goes to the Minnesota DNR.
