Registration for firearms safety class will take place between 7-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 4, at the Kimball Rod and Gun Club. Parents or guardians must bring a birth certificate or driver’s license to enter their child in the class. The class is open to students age 12 and older. Classes are scheduled Mon-days and Wednesdays from Aug. 6-20. A field day will take place Saturday, Aug. 23 from 9-a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23. The Minnesota Firearms Safety Class in Kimball has been sponsored and staffed by volunteers from the Kimball Rod and Gun Club since 1977.
