Parents or guardians may register their 12-year-olds for firearms safety classes from 7-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 4, at the Kimball Rod and Gun Club. You must bring the student’s birth certificate or a driver’s license for adult student identification. Classes will take place on: o Wednesday, Aug. 6 o Monday, Aug. 11 o Wednesday, Aug. 13 o Monday, Aug. 18 o Wednesday, Aug. 20 Field day will take place from 9 a.m. to about 2 p.m. Saturday, August 23. The Minnesota Firearms Safety Class in Kimball has been sponsored and staffed by volunteers from the Kimball Rod and Gun Club since 1977. A $5 fee goes to the Minnesota DNR. Don’t forget the IDs.
