Frederick A. Metcalf American Legion Post #261, Auxiliary and Junior Auxiliary will hold a service to put to rest old, faded or torn United States flags. POW/MIA flags will also be put to rest. The public is invited to this service at 7 p.m. Monday, June 14, at Willow Creek Park in Kimball, near the Veteran’s Memorial. Bring any flags that are no longer serviceable to the Legion Club prior to the service. Legion and Auxiliary members should meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Legion Club to prepare for the service. Remember to fly your flag on Flag Day, June 14.
