The Frederick A. Metcalf American Legion Post 261, Auxiliary and Junior Auxiliary will hold a service to put to rest old, faded or torn flags of the United States of America and POW/MIA flags. The public is invited to this service in Kimball at Willow Creek Park near the Veterans’ Memorial at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 16. Bring any flags that are no longer serviceable to the club or park. Members should meet at the club at 6:30 p.m. to prepare. Coffee and bars will be served afterwards. Remember to fly your flag on Flag Day, Saturday, June 14.
