The Forest City Livewires met on March 2, 2025, We did the pledges followed by roll-call, birthdays, and secretary’s report. The roll-call question was, “What’s your favorite spring flower?”
Our old business was talking about purchasing new club T-shirts. We need more information, and will talk more about this at our next meeting.
For new business, we talked about the new “Dish it Up” event to make a new food item to be served in the 4-H foodstand during the fair. We also talked about which club projects we should do this year, a theme for the projects, and a future work date for completing the projects.
Riley J., Alexis B., and Jonathan B. gave a project talk about the “bowls” they recently participated in. After that we divided into two teams, and we held a mock bowl based on our 4-H knowledge. We were given instructions to follow, especially about using the buzzers to answer questions, when specific team members were required to answer, and when the question was open to all.
We enjoyed a snack of cookies and juice before going home.
