Forest City Stockade annual Rendezvous is Aug. 18 and 19

By Jean Doran Matua, EditorThis coming weekend is the 18th annual Rendezvous at the Forest City Stockade in Meeker County. The two-day event will host demonstrations of old-time crafts, lots of food (fry bread, buffalo, homemade ice cream, old-fashioned root beer, sweet corn, and lots more!), and even a buckskin fur-trade encampment nearby. All at the re-constructed 1862 stockade near Forest City.
