Glory Days Festival fundraiser

I’m hopeful this update finds you doing well as we look forward to warming temperatures and outdoor activities. I’ve been working closely with a group of volunteers and school personnel to coordinate fundraising events that will generate seed money for a future EV-W sports complex. The concept is only in the infancy stage, and the size and scope of a future project will be dictated by the level of community interest, donations, and success of future fundraising events. I believe we have consensus that a future complex is multi-purpose, provides opportunities for community members, and for community education, physical education, male and female athletics, and outdoor classroom activities.

Our first fundraiser, “Glory Days Festival,” is scheduled for Aug. 13, 2022, at Cozy Corners Campground in Richmond. There will be games, food, beverages, a band, bean bag tourney, and an auction. Please consider sponsoring this upcoming event or providing an auction item to help us move one step closer to achieving our goals.

Details on becoming a sponsor, providing auction items, or making donations can be found on the school district website at, or reach out to any of the “Glory Days Festival” contacts listed below. Your donation is tax-deductible, and all accrued proceeds will be deposited in a designated Sports Complex account held in the district office, and only used on this future project.
