Genevieve F. Robinson of Kimball died on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2003, at the St. Cloud Hospital. She was 88 years old. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Kimball with Rev. Frank Tomasiewicz officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Anne’s Mausoleum. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Friday and 9-10 a.m. on Saturday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Kimball. There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home in Kimball. Genevieve Frances Robinson was born Feb. 6, 1914, in Racine, Wisc., to Oscar and Bridget (Murphy) Fox. She married Lester C. Robinson on March 1, 1946, in Wadena. Together they owned and operated the Red Owl grocery store on Hazel Avenue in Kimball from 1946-1974. She also was a homemaker and a member of St. Anne’s Church in Kimball. Genevieve was preceded in death by her brothers William and Eugene Fox. She is survived by her husband Lester of Kimball; daughters Mary Jo (and Kent) Jamison of St. Paul, Jill Ann (and William) Kilzer of Apple Valley; sisters Loretta Kelzenberg of Aurora, Colo., and Mabel Page of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four grandchildren: Ben and Andrea Jamison, and Michael and John Kilzer. Pallbearers will be Fred Jacobs, Darwin Deuermeyer, Kent Jamison, Bill Kilzer and her four grandchildren. Frosty Schiefelbein, Mary Mathies and Jill Ann Kilzer will provide the music. Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Kimball.
