Jan. 18, 2007 Kimball 50 – Rockford 73 Kimball Girls Basketball traveled to Rockford on Thursday night. With only 10 players available to play, the girls gave everything and were in the game, pulling ahead at 15 minutes into the first half. Rockford, although, pulled away with hitting seven for 12 from the 3-point line. We played tough and with a lot of heart; they just hit some big shots at key times in the game. Kimball was led in scoring by Mindy Hurrle and Amanda Kuseske who each had 10 points. Felicia Menson had eight, Brittnay Simmons had seven, Holly Garding had five and Krystal Mackereth and Brianna Rosenow each had four points. Sarah Powell also added two points. Rebounding was dominated by Felicia Menson and Brianna Rosenow with seven and five. Brittnay Simmons pulled down five, as well, and had five steals. Kimball was to travel to Pierz on Tuesday, Jan. 23, for another tough road conference game. Nathan Schwieters, head girls basketball coach Kimball High School
