Gloryview to hold fundraiser

·

“Gloryview” is a non-profit organization that grew out of a love for God, people, and from a vision held by Jon and Kathleen Albert. The Alberts’ vision is to allow people of all ages to experience God’s glory, as well as leadership training, through outdoor trips such as backpacking, canoeing, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, etc. Gloryview headquarters (the Albert home) is located at 74293 318th St., South Haven (just north of Kingston). The trips begin and end at the headquarters with a training session, worship time and debriefing. An open house fundraiser will be from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, at the headquarters. The purpose of the event is to raise money to purchase transportation for upcoming trips. The fundraiser is also an opportunity for you to hear more about the ministry, and testimonies from people who have gone on trips. You can also participate in a 4 p.m. worship time. Music will be provided throughout the day. There will be family activities and games for kids. Food will be available to purchase on-site. For more information call (320) 398-6347 or visit their Web site at www.gloryview.net.
