Great River Children’s Museum (GRCM) is excited to announce that applications for the V.P. of Education & Experience role are now being accepted. This individual will lead the development of innovative, play-based learning experiences for children and families. As the museum prepares to open its doors, this position will play a key role in shaping exhibits, programs, and visitor engagement strategies to fulfill the museum’s mission of sparking children’s learning, strengthening families, and building community connections.
In addition to this leadership role, Great River Children’s Museum is also accepting applications for Play Advocates – these team members will engage with kids and their caring adults on the museum floor and support safe, fun, and inclusive play environments.
About the Role
The Vice President of Education & Experience will report to the CEO and work closely with museum leadership to shape GRCM’s impact on the region. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that the museum is a welcoming, safe, and engaging space for children from birth to age 10 and their caregivers.
Key responsibilities include developing educational programming, designing and implementing dynamic experiences that inspire learning through play, and fostering partnerships with schools, cultural organizations, and local stakeholders. Additionally, this role will oversee program staff, volunteers, and visitor engagement initiatives to create a memorable and enriching museum experience for all.
